One of my BoF Sessions Picked Up

One of my Birds of a Feather sessions for Tech Ed 2007 was picked up. The notice is as follows:

Michael Ruminer,

Congratulations, your Birds of a Feather session, “Collaborative Development in the Organization and in the World”, has been accepted for TechEd 2007 in Orlando, Florida, in June. Thank you for your enthusiasm, your willingness to share, and your commitment to building community that make the Birds of a Feather discussions shine.

Your BoF session is scheduled for Friday, June 8, 2007 at 2:45 PM. As the rest of the conference schedule firms up, we may need to adjust a few BoF sessions. We will make every effort to accommodate your schedule, or make arrangements for an alternate moderator to lead your session. First come, first served.

I responded back that I could support that time. Apparently my proposed sessions for two consecutive years are not very popular as is noted by the horrible slot I am given. This year I am in the last slot of the last day. Hmmmm... Last year I was in the first slot of the last day. Not sure which is worse because the first slot of the last day is the morning after all the parties- so no one is around. I would expect the last slot of the last day to be about equal.

Oh well... at least I'm doing a BoF session. I enjoy them.

Now let's see if they picked me up as a MVP to work the TLC, cabana's etc so that I can go for free. Where o'where is that notice.
